Sedge warbler
Today I headed to the Somerset levels to try and photograph some warblers I knew of an area that contained Sedge warbler, Reed warbler, and Whitethroat, they usually show quite well.
I really wanted to be able to photograph the Sedge warbler today and so they would be my main subject to photograph. Upon arrival I heard Sedge warbler, Reed warbler and the Whitethroat, I could see a Sedge warbler on a bramble stem so that would be my target for today.
Early on it was cloudy but the sun soon broke through and it was clear blue sky`s again with plenty of sunshine and good light. I approached the Sedge warbler to try and fill the frame but the bird would move off to another tree and then drop back down onto the bramble after hunting some insects mid air, eventually my patience paid off with keeping a low profile and moving very slowly and pausing and repeat and I was then able to capture this image posted below. Another wonderful day spent in a lovely peaceful area on the Somerset levels.
