I made my first trip to Skomer island along with my father in law Mike Maddock,our main target was to be the Puffin a bird which is quite small in stature but big on looks it really is a beautiful and very colorful bird,the weather was also very kind to us and it was clear blue sky`s with plenty of sunshine,and after a 15 minute smooth boat trip followed by a steady 30 minute walk we arrived at our chosen spot,my initial plan was for static shot`s of the Puffin among`st the abundance of wild flowers which grow on the island on the island and hopefully some good flight shot`s later on,the time on the island absolutely flew by and before we knew it we had to pack up the camera gear and head back to the boat feeling that we would of liked just a few hrs more a very enjoyable day on a very beautiful island.

The short movie footage was captured using my Samsung galaxy S3 mobile phone.
