After all the recent bad weather with very heavy rainfall and flooding there was a brief window of opportunity today with a few sunny spells forecast so I decided to head over to Backwell and photograph the Goldcrest there I located two birds and set about photographing them these birds are the UKs smallest bird even smaller than a wren and they rarely sit still to pose or preen for more than a few seconds at a time usually because they are hunting small insects, spiders, moth eggs, etc, below you will see three images I captured today.
